Unpainted, undecorated vehicle in progress. Wooden body mounted on chassis. Looks similar to an extension-front brougham style carriage. No motor installed, but steering wheel visible inside, and shaft outside. Early door type.

Top down in winter, with driver and passenger bundled in fur coats. Photographed in front of 1570 East Avenue, the home of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Woodworth, now the site of Valley Manor condominiums. Woodworth was a contemporary of George Eastman and other Rochester notables, who were influential in the development of East Avenue as an exclusive residential area.
